More than anything, the Coco Beach area is known not for its beautiful coastline (which it has), but the game of golf. Immediately surrounding the beach is the Bahia Beach Resort and Golf Club, the Gran Melia Golf Resort, and the Trump International Golf Club. Still, this beach is worth a visit, so if you're heading to Puerto Rico to hit the links, take some time to head a few feet off the course and enjoy some fun in the sun.
Situated on the island of Puerto Rico, close to Bethel Town, You should consider stopping by even if you are not staying very close. You will typically find plenty of beach space once you hit the sand, since the vicinity around the beach and the beach itself are not overly populated.
You can reach Coco Beach from Puerto Rico 187.
The shores of Coco Beach are lined with bright green grasses and lush trees. The sand is soft and tan, and the waters are blue-green.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.
The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the East coast of Puerto Rico. It's located near, which is located a half mile to the east, and it is one of the favorite local destinations.
If you're interested in mixing some cultural exploration with your trip to the beach, you may want to consider visiting Museum of History, Anthropology and Art, a lovely museum found just a cab ride away, so it could be a welcomed alternative to hot afternoon activities.
