This beach is set on an island about eight miles off the coast of Ponce, within a nature reserve that also has a lighthouse, a cave, and many hiking trails. A ferry boat out of Ponce makes one trip to and one trip from this island. It leaves from the La Guancha Marina at 8:30 a.m. and leaves from the island at 3:30 p.m., taking under an hour for the crossing.
