La Bahia Fosforescente

One of nature's wonders is the existence of phosphorescent bays, like La Bahia Fosforescente, where millions of glowing marine dwellers cause the lake to glow a bright blue on a nightly basis.


La Bahia Fosforescente is located on the island of Puerto Rico, 13.1 miles southeast of Cabo Rojo; it is three and a half miles (five and a half kilometers) to the east of La Parguera.
