Manglillos Beach

Located on the south coast of Puerto Rico, Manglillo Beach is part of the Dry Forest Reserve. The calm waters and beautiful surroundings make it a favorite amongst both locals and tourists, especially on weekends.

Positioned on the island of Puerto Rico, You should consider stopping by regardless of whether you are staying particularly close by. While you wouldn't necessarily call Manglillos Beach quiet, you'll probably run into fewer crowds than at most other beaches in Puerto Rico. So though this is not the most quiet part of Puerto Rico's coast, you'll rarely be disturbed by crowds of beachgoers, should you decide to take a romantic walk.

To get to Manglillos Beach, take Route 325 until is dead ends, then turn east, and drive along the shore until you reach the beach.

Those visiting Manglillos Beach who are hoping to find a little additional excitement will want to consider checking out Guánica, which is not far away and is an area full of activity. From the coast, Guánica is a fairly short distance away, about four miles (six kilometers).

There are other beaches in Puerto Rico you might like besides Manglillos Beach.

You may also want to try Playa Santa, a popular beach beloved by tourists. You'll find it two and a half miles to the east-southeast. If it's a bit of peace and quiet you're after, Combate Beach is an area which doesn't host as many visitors. It is located definitely within a car's reach of the shore.

Travelers may also want to consider Rosado Beach, located only a short distance away.
