Morillo Beach is located on the east coast of Puerto Rico, in a heavily populated part of town. While this may lend itself to busy weekends, many would agree that the opportunity to enjoy the calm, cool Caribbean Sea on this beach is worth braving the crowds.
Located in Santiago Verde Mar, Morillo Beach is on the East coast of Puerto Rico. You might want to drop by even if you are not staying nearby. You'll find the area around the beach to be somewhat urbanized, but this does not, in fact, mean beach to be rather congested, the actual beach is going to be overflowing with visitors. Rather, you will generally find plenty of beach space once you hit the sand.
The landscape surrounding Morillo Beach is mostly flat, with palm trees lining the shore. The sand is a dark tan, and the waters are a beautiful aquamarine.
Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.
Morillo Beach is beautiful natural attraction, which you'll find on the East coast of Puerto Rico. It's located near, which is situated four miles to the north-northeast, and it is one of a few attractions close-by.
If you're intrigued by Puerto Rico's history, there are lots of sites which offer a historic look at the nation. One of the nearest historical attractions is Fuerte San Geronimo, which is some ways off the coast, but it's not a bad trip if you've got a car.

Morillo Beach guests looking for other interesting places to see will want to think about checking out Humacao, because it's in the vicinity and is a particularly busy area of Puerto Rico. From Morillo Beach, Humacao is not far away, roughly five miles (seven and a half kilometers).
The number of other vacationers sharing this coastline can vary widely, depending on time of day, season, and how packed the nearby hotels are. The beach is not located close to many large hotels, but it can attract visitors staying at some of the smaller accommodations in the area.

Needless to say, Morillo Beach isn't the only beach worth visitng in Puerto Rico.
You might also enjoy Humacao Beach, which is in a pretty active location. You'll find it two and a half miles to the south west. If you'd rather try a more private, less popular location, Naguabo Beach could be a good option for you. You'll find it a short taxi ride away.
You may also want to consider Playa Punta Santiago, located a quarter mile away.
You may find that Morillo Beach is a great fit for your vacation, but maybe you want to see more; if so, there are other beaches and natural attractions in Puerto Rico you might like.
