Playa Santa

Lined with resorts, Playa Santa is broken up into several sections of beach belonging to the hotel behind it. There is also a section of public beach where locals come to play. Regardless of where you stake you claim on a square foot or two of sand, you'll find the beach to be clean and inviting.

Positioned on the southwestern coast of the island of Puerto Rico, You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying very close. For a change from the usual crowded beach spots, you should consider visiting Playa Santa.

Amenities and Ambiance

The shore of Playa Santana stretches on for a mile, lined with coconut palms and resort properties. The sands are soft and white with aqua colored waters that rush ashore at regular intervals.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

If you tend to choose sunny days that bring visitors a calm place to escape, then you may want to try Playa Santa; it is back within a less urbanized section of the region.
