Catalonia Bavaro Resort Cabeza de Toro

Typical of Caribbean courses, palm trees line the fairways, and water makes its presence known on a handful of holes. Located in a peaceful, secluded spot, you'll be able to enjoy a truly relaxing round of golf.

Course Description

Founded in 2002, this course in the Dominican Republic has become a classic spot for a round of golf. The course layout, difficulty of the holes, and surprise challenges reflect the design of Alberto Solá, the architect of this golf course. The course features 9 holes, which stretch out a length of 2600 yards.

The course is across the street from the all-inclusive resort, and is set inside a quiet, forested region on the easternmost portion of the island. There's an island green which is a nice surprise, but excepting that, the play is fairly straightforward. Moderate bunkering and tree-lined fairways create a round of golf that is interesting but certainly manageable.
