Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2010, Corales is an exclusive and dramatic 18-hole course with six Caribbean Oceanside holes. Designed along the natural cliffs, bays, ocean coves and the inland lakes and coralina quarries, Corales Golf Course rates among the World’s finest Golf Experiences. The exhilarating challenge culminates playing the Devil’s Elbow, Corales’s last three holes. The Devil’s Elbow features the striking eighteenth hole with a dramatic forced carry over the cliff lined Bay of Corales, an inspired capstone to a memorable and breathtaking golf experience.
Because it was built in 2010, golfers visiting this course should expect freshly built, modern facilities. The lay of the land, hole placement, and surprise challenges were created by Tom Fazio, the architect of this golf course. The golf course has been given a course rating of 76.9, and its 18 holes measure out a total of 7650 yards.
The Corales Club and residential community is located on 700 acres of oceanfront property with six Oceanside holes and 2.5 miles of shoreline. The cliffs of the Bay of Corales and other natural features can be intimidating, in fact breathtaking, for all golfers and residents. Either way, the weather is tempered by the year round cool ocean breezes, and views of the Caribbean Sea are offered from 8 holes. The course is grassed with Paspalum Supreme, and accented tropical landscaping and Coconut Palm trees throughout the course.
The Clubhouse features a full service Grill and Bar overlooking the Bay of Corales. There is a fully equipped golf shop, additional putting green and beverage cart service for the golfers to enjoy.
