Punta Cana Beach is one of the most recognized of the Dominican Republic Beaches, perhaps because the area is rife with resort properties. This makes the beach somewhat crowded nearly every day of the week by hotel guests and those who make the trip from other areas of the island in order to see what all the fuss is about. While you may battle a crowd, it is popular for a reason, and most would agree that Punta Cana Beach is worth it.

Situated in the vicinity of Punta Cana, this beach is on the East coast of Hispaniola. You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you are staying in the vicinity. You will generally find the beach to be rather roomy, as the vicinity around the beach and the beach itself are not packed with guests.

How to Access The Beach

Amenities and Ambiance

Punta Cana Beach seems to be never endings with its long stretch of glorious powder white sand and clean turquoise waters. Cabins and hotels dot the landscape that backs the beach, while directly in the sand it is nothing but palm trees and beach chairs.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.
