Beaches in Red Hook

Each of the beaches in Red Hook differs from the next.  In some areas you'll find fine-grain sand that is soft to walk on and leads out into the clear waters making it acceptable to swim without some sort of water shoe.  Other beaches are rocky and better for people participating in watersports or beach combing.

Beach Choices In The Area

You will find an abundance of beaches to visit in and around the area. Snorkeling is an option at several locations, if some members of your party enjoy the underwater scene. Simply click on specific beach names for more detail concerning that part of the coast.

Lindquist Beach

A nice beach where snorkeling is popular is Secret Harbor. With a scattering of rocks just offshore, Secret Harbor Beach has some fantastic snorkeling areas for exploring the deep. A nearby set of condos and hotels blends into the scenery nicely and offers guests of the beach a bar, restaurant, and restrooms.

Another good option for snorkelers is Cowpet Beach. The beach is accessible via nearby local roads. Estate Nazareth leads directly into the carpark for the local yacht club.

Sapphire Beach: Access to the beach is provided by a small carpark off of Smith Bay Road (Route 38). Guests hould turn onto Pavillion Road and take a small, unnamed path right, which will lead directly to the beach.
