Latitude 18

Reminiscent of "Old St. Thomas," there aren't many places left on the island like this. With its laid back ambiance, view of the sea, and delicious local cuisine, Latitude 18 is a place you want to make sure you try.

Food

The menu at Latitude brings Caribbean and American dishes together, offering guests with a great deal of variety. The top sellers are Caribbean Roti and Caribbean Bake Sandwiches.

Latitude 18 is a popular bar and grill that happens to specialize in Caribbean cuisine. Expect an atmosphere and service that is very casual. This location is open for breakfast, dinner, brunch, and lunch, giving patrons several opportunities to try a bite.

Ambiance

One of the best things about this open air restaurant is that a fiddler provides entertainment Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

This restaurant is on the premises of Vessup Bay, which is located along the eastern outskirts of Red Hook, in the vicinity of Maroon Town. it is a quarter mile (a half kilometer) to the east-southeast of Red Hook.

There are a smattering of attractions within a short distance of the restaurant, enabling vacationers to stay active right through sunset. Two of the closest visitor favorites from this establishment include Coral World Ocean Park and Nadir Recreation Area, both of which are within a quick trip away.

There are at least a few fairly nearby outdoor activities to enjoy after you've finished you meal at Latitude 18. Vacationers who find themselves anxious to tee off won't want to miss the neighborhood golf club, Mahogany Run Public Golf Course, which is within traveling distance of Latitude 18. Or sometime during your visit you might want to chill out at Vessup Bay, which is the most nearby beach and is only a short walk away. Also, keep in mind these aren't the only beaches, courses, and outdoor pursuits within the region.
