The town of Rincon is known in Puerto Rico as the place you go to surf. The beaches along this stretch of coast feature rougher waters perfect for the sport. Corcega Beach, however, is set further south than many other Rincon beaches, and the waters are much more calm. If you have young children, this is the Rincon Beach to bring them to.

Corcega Beach is in the Mayagüez area, so walking the city is a definite option. Tourists at Corcega Beach who are looking for other opportunities for exploration might consider heading to Mayagüez, since it's close-by and is an especially active area of Puerto Rico.
