Recognized in the community with nominations for the PADI Excellence Award in both 2010 and 2011, Gri Gri specializes in dive excursions for previously certified scuba divers. In addition to daily trips to locals such as Catalina Island and the Atlantic Princess Wreck, you can also further your education by attending Dive Pro School for training on how to become a scuba dive instructor yourself.
Daily dives leave from the front of the Gri Gri dive center each morning at 9:00 a.m., and depending upon the length of your trip you'll return by about 2:30 in the afternoon. Each excursion follows a different path, making stops in multiple locations when necessary. One example is the Catalina Island Excursion, which sails to Catalina Island for a dive at The Wall, then travels to the other side of the island for a dive at the Aquarium. On the way back to the dive center, you'll enjoy views of Casa de Campo.
Gri Gri Divers is located in the northwestern outskirts of Rio San Juan, a town in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic; it is 27 miles (43 and a half kilometers) to the north-northeast of San Francisco de Macoris.
