While visting the Playa Secreto vacationers will be able to explore many of Mexico's fascinating attractions, such as the ancient Maya ruins. You can also take advantage of a variety of watersports, world class scuba diving around stunning coral reef formations, and superb saltwater fishing.

Located in the Riviera Maya, Playa Secreto is on the East coast of Mexico. You might think about stopping by even if you are not staying in the immediate vicinity. Playa Secreto stands out from other beaches because it's perfect for escaping the typical tourist haunts. Most other beaches you'll come across in Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean may be just as refreshing as Playa Secreto, but are usually busier because they're right around the corner from the area's major hotels and resorts.

How to Access The Beach
Playa Secreto is located 20 minutes from the Cancun Airport, off Carretera Federal 307.

Amenities and Ambiance

One of the most gorgeous beaches located along the Maya Riviera, Playa Secreto features sultry soft sands and dazzling blue ocean waters. This spot, called "Secret Beach" in Spanish, is home to numerous colorful and exotic bird species that thrive in the beach's freshwater pools and mangrove trees. Also found along this magnificant ocean front is a small private community comprised of about a dozen upscale homes.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch. On some days, it may be possible to order some food from one of the mobile vendors who are generally found here.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. The atmosphere of the Playa Secreto beach is one of seclusion and natural tranquility, which is ideal for vacationers who want a little peace and quiet on their trip to the beach.

Playa Secreto offers those who visit a calm and relaxing experience, due to the fact that the surrounding region won't be overly crowded.
