When Bertrand Peguignot, a Frenchman, visited the Mayan Riviera, he knew he had to find a way to stay and in 1989 he found a way to combine his love for the country with his adventurous spirit. This tour operation was born, and today they continue to offer several different snorkeling excursions as well as fishing and sailing adventures.
Their half day tour is called Morning Glory Snorkeling. It lasts for about four and a half hours and takes snorkelers to the second largest barrier reef in the world, focusing on two different patches of the reef. They also have a full day tour which is called the Snorkeling Adventure Tour and lasts seven hours. With this tour they will take you to three different sections of the reef, plus guests get a gourmet buffet lunch with an open bar at a beach club. Finally, the Afternoon Delight tour is a 90 minute trip for those who are short on time but don't want to miss a chance to get to see the reef.
The Morning Glory Snorkeling tour is $35 for children and $69 for adults, the Snorkeling Adventure Tour is $40 for children and $87 for adults, and the Afternoon Delight Tour is $45(USD) for all.
Snorkeling Adventure can be found in the Riviera Maya, in Quintana Roo; it's four miles (six and a half kilometers) to the north-northeast of Puerto Morelos.
