If you're searching for a more secluded and private beach scene, Donkey Beach might be a good choice. One of the smallest, but most picturesque beaches on the island's northwest coast, Donkey Beach was almost destroyed when a golf course was to be put in there, but as of now the course's plans have fallen through and the beach remains. You can find it three quarters of a mile west-southwest of the hotel.
