Rose Hall has a reputation for being a high-end resort community which caters to tourists who want everything top-of-the-line and at the drop of a hat.  While lounging on beaches and pool decks or golfing are top forms of entertainment, there are a few attractions in the area that guests will not want to overlook. 

Beaches

Rose Hall Beach Club

Golf Beach: You can access Golf Beach by taking a number of dirt side roads off Norman Manely Boulevard.

Another option worth considering is Rose Hall Beach Club. Vacationers can easily reach the shores of Rose Hall Beach Club, which is located on the main road just east of Montego Bay.

St Bran's Burg Beach: Just outside of the popular resort town of Montego Bay is St. Bran's Burg. This town catches an overspill of tourists looking for a quieter place to spend their vacation, and many turn to St. Bran's Burg Beach for a less crowded beach.

Rose Hall Plantation

Do you like discovering the history of foreign countries? If yes, you might want to visit some of these historical sites during your vacation.

If you are looking to do some sight-seeing, visit Rose Hall Plantation. It is found in Rose Hall. Now set on the grounds of one of Jamaica's most popular resorts, the Rose Hall Plantation attractions is whittled down to the infamous Rose Hall Great House. The story goes that after 50 years of Rose Hall being in the Palmer family, John Rose Palmer and his new wife Anne, took over occupancy of the residence; but Annie had a dark secret: she was a witch!

Another popular destination is Greenwood Great House. It is located 6.2 mi. East of central Rose Hall. Greenwood Great House still holds a great percentage of its original furnishings, despite the fact that it was built over two centuries ago in 1800. Guests are welcome to explore the property and view these pieces along with a collection of rare musical instruments and books.

Fort Montego: Fort Montego was the first fort built in Jamaica. Unfortunately, there is not much left of it, and if you visit the ruins all you will see is a few cannons and some crumpling walls.

The Rocklands Bird Sanctuary is the perfect place for bird-watchers, children, and anyone interested in something different. The sanctuary is home to various birds including hummingbirds, which you can feed by hand.
