Rose Hall has a reputation for being a high-end resort community which caters to tourists who want everything top-of-the-line and at the drop of a hat.  While lounging on beaches and pool decks or golfing are top forms of entertainment, there are a few attractions in the area that guests will not want to overlook.

Rose Hall Plantation

Many travelers choose to visit Rose Hall Plantation. It is located in Rose Hall. Now set on the grounds of one of Jamaica's most popular resorts, the Rose Hall Plantation attractions is whittled down to the infamous Rose Hall Great House. The story goes that after 50 years of Rose Hall being in the Palmer family, John Rose Palmer and his new wife Annie, took over occupancy of the residence; but Annie had a dark secret: she was a witch!

Many travelers also choose to visit Greenwood Great House. It is found 6.2 mi. East of central Rose Hall. Known as the finest antique museum in the Caribbean, Greenwood Great House is more of a history museum, showcasing the original furnishings of the home as well as a few other rarities. Greenwood is an award winning establishment, and one that can't be missed by lovers of history and fine things.

Fort Montego: Fort Montego was the first fort built in Jamaica. Unfortunately, there is not much left of it, and if you visit the ruins all you will see is a few cannons and some crumpling walls.
