Rose Hall has a reputation for being a high-end resort community which caters to tourists who want everything top-of-the-line and at the drop of a hat.  While lounging on beaches and pool decks or golfing are top forms of entertainment, there are a few attractions in the area that guests will not want to overlook. 


Rose Hall Beach Club

Golf Beach: You can access Golf Beach by taking a number of dirt side roads off Norman Manely Boulevard.

Another option for beach-goers to consider is Rose Hall Beach Club. Rose Hall Beach Club is situated near several of the area's top-notch resorts and hotels. Cool Aqua Sun Sports is also located right on the beach.

St Bran's Burg Beach: St. Bran's Burg Beach enjoys powder white sand along with deep blue waters. The surf can be choppy at times, but experienced swimmers should have no trouble navigating the waters along this shore.

Rose Hall Plantation

Do you like discovering the history of foreign countries? If that's the case, you might want to visit a few of these historical sites while vacationing in Rose Hall.

If you are looking to do some sight-seeing, visit Rose Hall Plantation. It is situated in Rose Hall. Now set on the grounds of one of Jamaica's most popular resorts, the Rose Hall Plantation attractions is whittled down to the infamous Rose Hall Great House. The story goes that after 50 years of Rose Hall being in the Palmer family, John Rose Palmer and his new wife Anne, took over occupancy of the residence; but Annie had a dark secret: she was a witch!

Another popular destination is Greenwood Great House. It is located 6.2 mi. East of central Rose Hall. Greenwood Great House still holds a great percentage of its original furnishings, despite the fact that it was built over two centuries ago in 1800. Guests are welcome to explore the property and view these pieces along with a collection of rare musical instruments and books.

Fort Montego: Fort Montego was the first fort built in Jamaica. Unfortunately, there is not much left of it, and if you visit the ruins all you will see is a few cannons and some crumpling walls.

Zoos and Aquariums

If the thought of spending part of a day surrounded by animals sounds like fun, consider visiting Rockland Bird Feeding Station. Not everyone has even seen a hummingbird, let alone fed one. The park gives you an opportunity to get closer to these tiny birds than most ever will.
