Cinnamon Hill Course

Golfer magazine has called Cinnamon Hill Golf Course one of the best in the world, and the diversity throughout the course is likely the reason why. The signature hole is the par-4 fifth, which features a beautiful tee shot staring into the Caribbean sea before doglegging slightly left along the ocean. The green is well protected by the wind and water. It could very well be the best golf hole in all of Jamaica.

Course Description

Founded in 1969, this golf course in Jamaica has become an established site for visiting golfers. Robert von Hagge designed this golf course. The golf course has a course rating of 74.2, and its 18 holes measure a total distance of 6828 yards. Also note that there's a golf professional, Jamie Breedon, on-site, so consider this location if you think you could use a few pointers.

The course runs right up to the coast, and a couple of greens literally drop off into the sea. The majority of holes, however, are in the thick woods covered with pine trees just inland. You'll be golfing at sea level at times, then a few holes later at 350 feet. The elevation changes play a big part and make for an interesting and challenging round of golf.
