Cathedral of Our Lady of Fair Haven

While the current cathedral was built as recently as 1916, there has been a church on this site since 1730, with an additional one being built in 1830, the direct predecessor of the modern cathedral.

Visitors may find the heavy Gothic architecture out of place in natural and Caribbean Dominica, but that does not make it any less beautiful, and really showcases how independent Dominican culture has become from its European settlers.
