Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach is located on St. Davis Island and features a shallow-water beach that curves slightly on the island's easternmost peninsula. It's remote location promises that the area will be limited to locals. The clear, calm water is perfect for swimming and access is easy thanks to the beach's proximity to Cooper's Island Road.

While Clearwater Beach may be a little farther away, visiting this beach instead of a more crowded one could make your experience less stressful.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is accessible by foot, bicycle, and vehicle. For drivers, a car park is located directly off of Cooper's Island Road.

Clearwater Beach is protected by a small rock formation that stretches out from the island, creating Turtle Bay to the east, but also guaranteeing a private atmosphere. The calm waters of the Atlantic promise excellent swimming, while the adjoining Cooper's Island Nature Reserve to the south creates a quiet environment, as well as makes for an excellent picnic spot.

The concession stand on-site could come in handy, even if you plan to have lunch elsewhere.

When you start craving an afternoon snack, this beach has many nearby restaurants, so you won't have to wander too far from the sea. One of the closest restaurants is Blackhorse Tavern. The restaurant serves both Caribbean and International cuisines. They're also renowned for their seafood. You could take a cab or probably walk to this restaurant since it's not far off the beach at all.

There are multiple beaches to discover on Bermuda, of course, and Clearwater Beach is just one option.

If you like the ambiance at this beach, you might also like Alexandras Beach, found within a mile or so. However, if that's not exactly what you're looking for, Annie's Bay could provide a few more possibilities for excitement, and is closer to other tourist hot-spots. You'll find it a half mile to the northeast.

Travelers may also want to consider St. Catherine's Beach, which is close-by and another fun spot on Bermuda. St. Catherines's Beach, formerly known as Club Med Beach is one of Bermuda's little pieces of paradise. This oceanfront location is public, so anyone can visit.

Perhaps Clearwater Beach is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; if so, there are other beaches and natural attractions on Bermuda you might like.
