Long Bay is located on St. David's Island and features a long stretch of sandy beach largely free of tourists. The shallow water of the bay makes for excellent swimming and snorkeling and features a panoramic view of the island's tropical vegetation and small rock formations.

Positioned on the southeastern side of St. David's Island, near Castle Harbour, You should think about stopping by whether or not you are staying in the vicinity. This beach is not just a pleasant attraction, it's one of the rare "quiet" beaches on Bermuda. While Long Bay Beach may be a little farther away, visiting this beach instead of a more crowded one could make your experience less stressful.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is accessible from Cooper's Island Road. With the island's narrow roads, it's encouraged that visitors visit via scooters or bicycles rather than by car.

Amenities and Ambiance

The area is located southeast of the more popular Clearwater Beach and Cooper's Island Nature Reserve. The beach is composed of soft, tan sand and offers shallow, clear water, excellent for swimming or snorkeling. The beach is surrounded by light vegetation and rocks, giving the area a private feel.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

If you desire beach days that grant a calm experience, then think about trying out Long Bay Beach; it is found in a less urban part of the region.
