Attractions in San Juan

"I'm bored!" Two words you'll never here uttered out of the mouths of tourists visiting the busy city of San Juan.  From the resort community of Isla Verde to the historic Old San Juan, you'll find multitudes of activities to keep you busy any time of the day or night. 


Condado Beach

A beach that offers snorkeling is Escambrion Beach. Located at the Third Millennium Park, Escambron Park is the beach nearest Old San Juan. It is one of the island's Blue Flag Beaches, and life guards are on duty between 8:30 a.m.

A second location for beach-goers to consider is Condado Beach. To access Condado Beach, take Avenida Ashford to Park la Ventana al Mar where you will find parking.

Parque Beach: Parque Beach is located at the end og Avenida de Diego, just after the road crosses Avenida Ashford.

Landmark Attractions

Museo de arte de Puerto Rico

A common landmark for vacationers is Museo de Arte Contemporaneo. It is Condado District, in northern San Juan. There are over 900 pieces of art work in the permanent collection at Museo de Arte Contemporaneo, but only a small fraction of that is put on display at any one time. This, coupled with a number of rotating exhibits keeps the museum fresh and worth visiting during each trip to Puerto Rico.

Bosque Estatal De Piñones

Those visitors who like being outside will often have a pleasant time visiting Bosque Estatal De Piñones. The park contains a boardwalk that stretches through a dense collection of mangroves. This vital ecosystem to Puerto Rico is home to a number of wildlife that cannot survive in other habits.

San Juan Casinos
