"I'm bored!" Two words you'll never here uttered out of the mouths of tourists visiting the busy city of San Juan.  From the resort community of Isla Verde to the historic Old San Juan, you'll find multitudes of activities to keep you busy any time of the day or night. 


Condado Beach

A location that offers snorkeling is Escambrion Beach. Escambrion Beach is accessible off Calle San Augustin. There is a paved parking lot available for a fee of $4(USD).

Another location for beach-goers to consider is Condado Beach. Situated in the western corner of San Juan, Condado Beach is protected by a natural rock barrier that creates smooth waters. The beach is modest, but features tan colored sand, aquamarine waters, plenty of shade, and a separate lagoon.

Parque Beach: Parque Beach is so named because it is backed by a city park called Parque el Indio. Visitors can split their time between the beach and the park, making this stretch of Puerto Rico coast line double the fun.

Museo de arte de Puerto Rico

An interesting landmark worth visiting is Museo de Arte Contemporaneo. It is Condado District, in northern San Juan. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

An alternative landmark could be Museo de arte de Puerto Rico. It's a museum on the outskirts of San Juan. The West Wing of the museum features 14 exhibition galleries and the museum's permanent collection. The East Wing, meanwhile, houses a 400-seat theater, two exhibition galleries, art studios, a computer lab, and a classroom.

Pablo Casals Museum: Pablo Casals was a popular cellist from Puerto Rico who changed the face of classical music. Lovers of the style will certainly not want to miss the opportunity to get into Casals head by touring his once home.
