America Cruise Ferries operated the Caribbean Fantasy, which is one of many ferry services that have tried to provide international transportation from . All have failed except for this one which has been in operation since 2010. Caribbean Fantasy travels from two spots on Puerto Rico, one of which is in San Juan, to the Dominican Republic three times a week.
The trip, which costs $159(USD) for a round trip ticket, lasts between eight and 12 hours, and it does so overnight. This give passengers the choice of sleeping or partying all night since there is plenty to keep you buy including a disco, casino, swimming pool, and a number of duty free shops.
