The beautiful white sand shores of San Pedro can be decieving. Although pleasurable for a day of relaxing in the sun, the waters have a tendency to be thick with sea grass, and visibility is low. Additionally, piers are often so close to one another that things can begin to feel crowded.
You'll discover a good group of beaches to visit in and around the area. You can click on the name of each beach for more information concerning that specific beach.
Ambergris Caye Southeast: Ambergris Caye stands as the most famous of the Belize's cayes. Located close to a reef, the caye's beaches are relatively small, though the available space offers clean, white sand and palm trees.
Another location worth considering is Debbie's Beach. Finding Debbie' sBeach is not too hard, as there is only one main road on the Ambergris Cay. Taking the road north out of San Pedro, the road is located a little after Ak'bol Yoga Retreat and should be the third right after that.
