Bonefish Bay

Named for the over abundance of bonefish in the area, Bonefish Bay is one of the most popular spots on the island for watersports. The beach is relatively long, so finding a quiet place to lay a blanket and lie in the sun isn't a difficult task.

Situated just outside the heart of San Salvador Island, near Cockburn Town, Bonefish Bay is on the North West coast of the island, You might want even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Vacationers will notice that, although Bonefish Bay is by no means secluded, it's not the rowdiest beach in the Bahamas either. This makes it a good option for travelers who want to make the most of their trip to the beach without having to fight other beachgoers for a spot in the sand.

How to Access The Beach
Bonefish Bay is accessible right off Queen's Highway. Just find parking along the main road near Club Med and make your way to the shore.

Three miles of fine white sand in front of Club Med make up Bonefish Bay. The almost neon turquoise waters are mesmerizing.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.
