In Euskera, "Arte Berri" means "new art," which is a great way to describe this art gallery in Santo Domingo. Located in a 16th century home, Arte Berri features contemporary art work inside and a sculpture garden outside.

Arte Berri

Arte Berri has hosted numerous innovative, important art events with the intention of promoting fine arts and maintaining an interesting event calendar. Mostly working with Amaya Salazar's art, artists with strong resumes such as Thimo Pimentel, Pelletier, and Zammy Migdal, among others have also exhibited. Emerging artists are presented with the opportunity to showcase their work in this beautiful house within the Colonial Zone.

In addition to being a fine arts gallery and sculpture garden, Arte Berri is also the ONG headquarters, which promotes cultural events in the Dominican Republic. Something important and exciting is always happening at Arte Berri.
