One of the oldest houses in the entire Western Hemisphere, Casa Del Cordon takes you back to the earliest days of European colonization in the Americas. Today the grand building simply houses a bank.
Unfortunately, guests will only be able to view the house from the outside and from the lobby of the bank.
Consider staying in Zona Colonial if you plan on visiting Casa Del Cordon, since those visiting this region of the Dominican Republic will be pleased to have easy site access during their visit. There are a decent collection of hotels in the locale around this facility.
