Located in downtown Santo Domingo, toward the center of Santo Domingo, Montesinos Beach is on the South East coast of the Dominican Republic. You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Vacationers who prefer to walk rather than drive around the Dominican Republic will probably like Montesinos Beach. The area surrounding this beach has so much to offer because it is located in a pretty major tourist area.

Another location you may want to try is Playa los Cuadritos, located 13 and a half miles away.
Of course, there are lots of other things to do and see in the Dominican Republic; then again, visiting Montesinos Beach or the other beautiful beaches in the area can make your time in the Dominican Republic even more memorable.
