The Museo de la Porcelana (Museum of Porcelain) showcases a ten gallery collection of ceramic art from around the world, all of which are from the pre-Columbus Era (Any time before 1492). The ceramic pieces spread over four rooms offer an unique view of how cultural differences affected art styles.

What to Expect

Visitors to the Museo de Porcelana will be able to explore the four main room that each represent a different culture. The four rooms include the English Room, the French Room, the Dutch Room, and the Chinese Room.

The building itself is modeled after the Alhambra Palace on Grenada, Spain. The palace take the Moorish Style, a Muslim Empire that consisted of South Spain and North Africa.

The museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Sunday, and from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday. The museum is closed to the public on Monday.
