Natural Attractions in Scarborough

Scarborough may be a busy port town on the otherwise quiet island of Tobago, but it certainly is not lacking in its green scene.  From waterfalls to unique rock formations, secluded beaches to thick, overgrown trails, there is plenty to keep you busy on days where you want to spend you time outdoors.

Waterfalls

Argyle Waterfall

Even though most visitors to the area are attracted by the beautiful water and coastline, that isn't the only way to enjoy the natural wonders available. Areas near Scarborough multiple options, including 6 waterfalls.

You might want to visit Craig Hall Waterfall, which is located within Mason Hall, 2.5 mi. Northeast of central Scarborough. Craig Hall is comprised of several tiers of falls. The first falls into a large pool that is quite often filled with swimmers.

A second available option is Highland Waterfall. It is situated 3.2 mi. North-Northeast of central Scarborough. To get to Highland, take the road just passed the Les Coteaux Health Center down to the river, and park your vehicle by the ridge. From there, follow the rail along the river for about 15 minutes where you will cross the river to the left side.
