A victim of erosion, Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach is actually only about five and a half miles long these days. This doesn't make it any less pleasurable, however. Here, visitors enjoy soft coral-colored sands which form into a crescent of public property which allows beachgoers to walk from one end to the other without fear of trespassing.
You will discover several beaches to choose from in and around the area. Click on each beach name for a detailed review of that section of the coast.
Barkers National Park Beach: The shoreline on this long, clean beach is bordered by mangroves and greenery. During the week, there are very few visitors so if you like isolated beach experiences, this is the spot for you.
Another place to consider is Boatswain's Beach. Boatswain's Beach features several individual exhibits including a breeding ground, a few lagoons where you can swim with sea life, a turtle tank, and an iguana exhibit.
Conch Point Beach: There is no trouble finding or accessing this beach. You can follow the signs for the nearby restaurant, Pappagallo.
