Dive Safaris is run by Henry and Helmie Franken, two divers who have traveled the world diving wherever they could. Take the opportunity to to dive with them and they will take you to some of the best places in Sint Maarten for seeing and getting close to fish and other marine life.
While Dive Safaris offers basic open water dives and a host of PADI certification courses, what most people want to know about is the fact that they specialize in shark awareness dives. Here you will learn all about these majestic creatures and be lead to an area where sharks are common.
For certified divers, a dive with equipment costs $65, while two costs $110, three $160(USD), and so on with a similar discount for every extra dive. Specialized dives cost between $70 and $90(USD), including dices for non-certified divers. The PADI basic certification course at Dive Safaris costs $460(USD).
Dive Safari's comes equipped with two boats, both able to hold around sixteen people, so no need to worry about party size. In addition, these boats come ready with everything you will need to enjoy your dives, including an Oxygen refill station. Their boats are docked in the lagoon, so entry and exit are very easy and they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
