Burgeaux Bay

Located on the southwestern end of the island, Burgeaux Bay feaures a small strip of white sand surrounded by palms and small villas. The area, which lacks major resorts or hotels, is primarily used by locals. The waters are shallow and rarely rough, making the area perfect for swimmers of all ages.

Set in Beacon Hill, Burgeaux Bay is on the South coast of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. You may notice that beaches throughout St. Martin are usually fairly quiet, but Burgeaux Bay stands out as a pleasant exception to this rule.

How to Access The Beach

Access to the beach is provided by small sand paths between villas and cottages. These can be accessed off of Beacon Hill Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Burgeaux Bay features a beautiful view of the island mountain chain and Pelican Key. The beach itself offers soft white sand and incredible waters, which are perfect for swimming.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.

Since Burgeaux Bay is of course located within a relatively urbanized region, many try to show up early.
