Gibbs Bay

Located on the east coast of the island, Gibbs Bay features a small beach area, south of some of the island's popular resorts. Typically unpopulated, the beach's soft white sand and clear waters are perfect for a no-hassle beach trip. The area is also easily accessible via local roads.

Positioned near the center of Sint Maarten, 2.1 miles south-southwest of Caye Chateau, Gibbs Bay is on the North East coast of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you are staying very close. Although the area isn't crowded with buildings, visitors frequently find this a worthwhile destination since it has such a relaxed atmosphere.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is primarily accessible by vehicle, unless guests are staying at a local home. Drivers should take Wavy Clam Road, turning right onto March Clam Road. Cars can park off to the side, allowing a short walk to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

Physically, the beach is surrounded by private homes and Red Pond, which gives guests the feeling of seclusion. Clear waters are good for swimming, though the surf can get rough depending on the time of day, so plan with caution. Seagrapes and palm trees provide the background.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

Since Gibbs Bay happens to be found in a popular area that can get crowded, you'll want to plan accordingly.
