Located on the western coast of the island, Mullet Bay Beach features a large strip of white sand, filled with palm trees and seagrapes. One of the best beaches on St. Maarten for swimming because of the excellent conditions of the crystalline waters, Mullet Bay is popular with tourists and locals alike. Be advised that depending on the current, the water may be strong.

Situated in Sint Maarten, Mullet Bay is on the South West coast of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Although the area isn't crowded with buildings, visitors frequently find this a worthwhile destination since it's removed from certain noisier areas.

How to Access The Beach
Mullet Bay beach is easily accessible, particularly as it is located by a popular golf course. Drivers should take Rhine Road to a local turnoff (signage is present throughout the area), where they will be led to a large car park area.

Amenities and Ambiance

The shores of the white sand Mullet Bay Beach are lined with lush majestic palm trees, which provide natural shade from the sultry island sun for beachgoers. To the south, there is a large hill featuring rocks and seagrass. This area may be slightly rocky as guests enter the water, so swimmers should consider moving northward along the beach.

If you're suddenly hungry or thirsty, the concession stand at Mullet Bay is the ultimate convenience. On some days, it may be possible to order lunch from one of the local vendors who are typically found at this location.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot. At one time Mullet Bay Beach was the most populous beach on the island, but when St. Maarten's main resort closed the crowds thinned out. The beach is still popular, and the weekdays are the best times to visit. On the weekends locals flock to these shores.

Since Mullet Bay will be found within an area that sees many visitors, many try to show up early.
