Hog Bay

Located deep within Hog Bay Park, the Hog Bay's beach offers an incredible intimate and isolated experience. Guests should plan to arrive during low tide, as the beach completely washes away during high tide. The beach features rougher sand and often contains shells and sea urchins, so visitors should bring footwear.

Located on the western coast of the island of Bermuda, 0.4 miles northwest of Hog Bay, this beach is nicely positioned on the coast. You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Though not very urbanized, many visitors find this destination worthwhile as it attracts those looking for easygoing atmosphere.

How to Access The Beach

Access to the beach requires walking on a long trail, so only those physically able are advised to visit. As well, the beach availability is completely dependent on time of low tide, so plan accordingly.

Amenities and Ambiance

Located on Sandy's Parish and deep within the Hog Bay Park, Hog Bay Beach looks and feels secluded. The water at low tide is excellent for swimming and the beach itself stretches extensively down the coastline. The trail leading up to the beach consists of awesome fields and cherry and spice trees.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.
