Located far away from tourist areas, Somerset Long Bay beach provides a private Bermuda experience. The white, sandy beach faces the Somerset Long Bay and benefits from the area's shallow, clear waters and panoramic view of the northern coast of the island.

Somerset Long Bay lies on the northwestern end of the island and with about a quarter of a mile of sandy coast, this is one of the longer beaches on Bermuda. Undeveloped park land borders this beach, giving it a secluded and uninhabited atmosphere and the small crowd usually consists of locals. The waters along the bay are shallow and calm, perfect for wading or swimming near the coast. However, it is often treacherous to go too much further out; the bottom of the bay is scattered with sharp rocks.

Located near the middle of Somerset Village, Somerset Long Bay Park always welcomes local customers and travelers rooming in this part of Somerset Island. Whether or not you're staying very close, you are free to stop by to check out the sights.

The beach is accessible via foot, with a car park provided on the southern end of the adjoining Somerset Long Bay park. Drivers should take Somerset Road to Cambridge Road, with an immediate left on Daniel's Head Road.
