Alicia Beach is the one that's nearest to Hotel Casa Valeria. Keep in mind that this beach is located a couple hundred yards from the hotel, so your group won't have to travel far to enjoy this beautiful section of the coast. The products of recent erosion, Alicia Beach went from bring a rocky cliff-side to a beautiful beach at the beginning of the 21st century. While it didn't draw much attention at first, these days it is common to find tourists lining the shore, sunbathing and snorkeling on what is now known to be one of the most picturesque stretches of sand in the area. You can spend as much time as you want at this coastal site, considering you'll find public bathrooms on-site.
If you're on the lookout for a more peaceful beach scene, Encuentro Beach is an alternative worth considering. This prime surfing location is a tip choice for experienced wave-riders. Swimmers though should stay close to shore, as the waves are rough and the currents equally so. It can be found four and a half miles east of the hotel.
