Diamond Falls

One of the top natural features in the Caribbean, Diamond Falls is famous for its mineral rich water and beautiful grotto.

This tall waterfall is tucked into a grotto populated with colorful flowering plants, and ferns climbing up the rocks. The water is a deep blue-green and is refreshing just to look at. The waterfall itself is only part of a larger park that littered with gardens and gazebos, making it a perfect place for a midday walk.

Diamond Falls offers several mineral baths are said to help rejuvenate your skin. Whether or not it actually does, the cool waters are perfectly inviting to escape the heat on one of the hot Caribbean days.

Location

Diamond Falls is situated on the southwestern side of Cresslands, a neighborhood near downtown Soufriere; it is three quarters of a mile (a kilometer and a half) to the east-southeast of Soufrière.

Diamond Fall is just five minutes from the Soufriere town square.

And, one of the most exciting possibilities while spending an afternoon exploring the area is eating food at a restaurant within traveling distance of Diamond Falls. Fedo's, which plates up Caribbean dishes, is also the most convenient option for visitors of this waterfall. The restaurant is maybe about three quarters of a mile from the waterfall, so grab a table and eat up! Also within a short distance, you and your group will come across restaurants including Morne Coubaril Estate and The Beacon providing you with a fair number refreshment choices.

More Information

Hours

The Waterfall is open to the public nearly everyday of the year. Normal business hours are from 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., however on Sundays and holidays it closes two hours early, at 3:00 p.m.

Cost

Adults will pay $8(USD) to enter Diamond Falls, while children are $4(USD). From there, you can pay an additional $8(USD) for a private bath or $5(USD) for a public bath.
