Spanish Town features a long string of beaches, one separated from the next by unique granite boulder formations.  All are known for their warm, clear waters that regularly enjoy calm surf, plus soft white sands, and it is worth noting that they are all open to the public.

Which Beaches Are Available?

There are a large selection of beaches to consider visiting in and around the area. Snorkeling is an option at several locations, if some of the people in your group enjoy the underwater scene. To get additional information concerning any one of these beaches simply click on the names of the ones you would like to know more about.

Savannah Bay

One beach where you may find people snorkeling is Savannah Bay. Access to the beach area is provided by a dirt path off of the island's main road (North Sound Road). It is recommended that drivers utilize a car with four-wheel drive to access the small parking area a few yards short of the beach.

Another good choice for snorkelers is Spring Bay. Spring Bay, which neighbors The Baths on Virgin Gorda, offers guests clear waters that are just perfect for snorkeling. The sands are soft and boulders are scattered along the shore, making this beach one of the best on the island.

The Baths: The Baths, with its maze of random sea pools and canopy of exquisite boulders is a site that should not be missed. Wandering through the waters and trying to find a way out is always a fun adventure.
