Savannah Bay

A beach where snorkeling is a popular is Savannah Bay. Access to the beach area is provided by a dirt path off of the island's main road (North Sound Road). It is recommended that drivers utilize a car with four-wheel drive to access the small parking area a few yards short of the beach.

Another good option for visitors who enjoy snorkeling is Spring Bay. Spring Bay, which neighbors The Baths on Virgin Gorda, offers guests clear waters that are just perfect for snorkeling. The sands are soft and boulders are scattered along the shore, making this beach one of the best on the island.

The Baths: The Baths is the most famous national park on the island and it will probably come to no surprise to most that it was ranked as one of the "Best Beaches on Earth" by Travel + Leisure in 2013 and earned a similar title in 2014 from Trip Advisor. The magazine made note that it was the best beach on earth for dramatic landscaping.
