Cormorant Beach

Located on the northeastern end of St. Croix, Cormorant Beach features beautiful sands and mostly calm waters for the perfect beach experience. Snorkeling is a popular attraction at the Cormorant Beach Club because of the great offshore reef, and other watersport activities are also available at the beach's own watersports center.

Situated in Judith's Fancy, 3.3 miles northwest of downtown Christiansted, Cormorant Beach is on the North edge of St. Croix. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying very close. At Cormorant Beach, you'll have the best of both worlds: plenty to see and do nearby, but less crowds and noise than at other beaches.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is accessible by Jefferson Way, which runs parallel to the shoreline. A small area is available for parking, at which point guests are a few steps away from the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

About a quarter mile of smooth white sands complement the scattered palms along the shore at the Cormorant Beach Club. Just five miles west of Christiansted on St. Croix, this beach has an offshore reef that is good for snorkeling , yet when the seas are rough, watch out for the dangerous undertow.

The concession stand at this spot is also an option. Sometimes, visitors will be able to get lunch from one of the local vendors who set up shop at the beach.

This beach has public restrooms——something you'll appreciate if you spend more than a couple of hours here. You will find the water here is of good snorkeling quality, so grab some equipment if you're looking to see what goes on beneath the surface. This beach is popular with the gay community on St. Croix and can sometimes get a bit crowded, especially on the weekends.
