Cormorant Beach

Located on the northeastern end of St. Croix, Cormorant Beach features beautiful sands and mostly calm waters for the perfect beach experience. Just five miles west of Christiansted on St. Croix, this beach has an offshore reef that is good for snorkeling , yet when the seas are rough, watch out for the dangerous undertow.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch. On some days, it may be possible to purchase food from one of the mobile vendors who are generally found here.

Yes, public restrooms will be available here. Fortunately, the water here is clear enough for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface. This beach is popular with the gay community on St. Croix and can sometimes get a bit crowded, especially on the weekends.
