Pickled Greek

The award winning Pickled Greek is St. Croix's choice for authentic Greek food and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Owner and chef Peter Skrivanos created a menu of the Greek recipes he knew and loved as a child. Adapted from those meals that his Yia-Yia (grandmother) used to cook for him, you can be sure that each bite is authentically Greek. Chef Peter recommends the Yia-Yia Stew, a vegan stew of squash, potatoes, corn, and a few secret ingredients.

Pickled Greek is a popular diner that happens to specialize in Greek cuisine. As far as service and setting, you can expect the formality to be very casual. This dining option is on the table during both dinner and lunch, so why not stop by?

The Pickled Greek is a lively, family-friendly restaurant that invites each guest in and makes them feel at home.

Located on the eastern part of the island of St. Croix, 1.2 miles East of downtown Christiansted, Pickled Greek is on East End Road. Guests staying in Christiansted should also think about dining here, since the restaurant is a mile (a kilometer and a half) to the east of town.

This section of St. Croix has plenty of popular attractions, proud to call itself part of a colorful area of town. The nearest landmark sites from the restaurant include Fort Louisa Augusta Light and Fort Christiansted, both of which are only a short distance from Pickled Greek.

Many travelers also anticipate the range of fun activities located around this district. Any golfing guests who drop by for the day can test their skills at the neighborhood golf course, Buccaneer Golf Course. And don't forget the beach towels, if you run over to Grotto Beach, which is the most convenient beach and is only three quarters of a mile away. And happily, these two are among a few different options for beaches, courses, and outdoor pursuits in this area.

Nearby Restaurants

If you are looking for another restaurant in the region that has similar types of food or a comparable price range, there is no shortage of nearby places to consider, including Cafe Fresco. It's located one and a quarter miles to the west of this restaurant.

On the other hand, if you want something a little different, this section of St. Croix features an excellent selection of dining establishments, which serve everything from the familiar to the exotic. For instance, you might also enjoy some different fare at The Bistro.
