Rainbow Beach

Extremely popular with families, this beach has a beach volleyball court and a beach bar for guests. The shore's rocky bottom is still good for swimming and snorkeling, and there are also prime dive sites offshore. On busy days, a rental stand leases out beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and more to guests.

Located on the western edge of the island of St. Croix, You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying very close. When you need to spend the afternoon away from tourist-filled hotspots, you should check out Rainbow Beach, a pretty, but less popular part of the coast.

How to Access The Beach
Rainbow Beach is located up Route 63 and is accessible via an entrance in a local restaurant.

Just north of Frederiksted on St. Croix, this beach is also a favorite for scuba divers because of the spectacular dive sites nearby. The snack bar here is the ultimate convenience if you need a cold drink, or something to hold you over until dinner. If available, you could also buy food from one of the local vendors who set up shop at the beach.

You'll be able to use picnic tables at this beach, which make beach dining less messy, and are good spots for lounging.

You will be able to use a public restroom at Rainbow Beach. Also, you'll have access to lounge chairs at this location. Happily, the off-shore waters are fit for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.
