Dieppe Bay

Dieppe Bay is one of the more touristy beaches on the island. Although an offshore reef protects the bay from very strong currents, its locations allows a few to get through, making it a great spot for snorkeling and windsurfing, but not so much for swimming.

Located toward the northern outskirts of Dieppe Bay Town, Dieppe Bay is on the North West edge of St. Kitts. You should consider stopping by whether or not you are staying nearby.

How to Access The Beach

Dieppe Bay can be found in Dieppe Bay Town, which stretches across the northernmost tip of St. Kitts.

Amenities and Ambiance

Dieppe Bay is remarkable in that it features black sands and stunningly deep, dark blue waters. Visitors are warned to be wary of the poisonous Manchineel trees, which are especially troubling when it rains.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.

What's Nearby

The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the North West coast of St. Kitts; the area is home to other attractions such as Beaumont Park Race Track, which is only a short distance away, so some guests will want to walk to this attraction, while others will choose to take a cab.

Some may feel that museums and beaches are an odd combination, but many travelers find that museums like National Museum (situated ten and a half miles to the southeast) offer a fun learning experience and a new way to experience St. Kitts' culture.
