Dieppe Bay is one of the more touristy beaches on the island. Although an offshore reef protects the bay from very strong currents, its locations allows a few to get through, making it a great spot for snorkeling and windsurfing, but not so much for swimming.
Located toward the northern outskirts of Dieppe Bay Town, Dieppe Bay is on the North West edge of St. Kitts. You should consider stopping by whether or not you are staying nearby.

Dieppe Bay is remarkable in that it features black sands and stunningly deep, dark blue waters. Visitors are warned to be wary of the poisonous Manchineel trees, which are especially troubling when it rains.
Please note that public restrooms are not available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.
The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Cities near Dieppe Bay include Dieppe Bay Town, which is a fairly rural area, but it can be an interesting destination for visitors wishing to get a better feel for the area. From the shore, Dieppe Bay Town is not far away, about a few hundred yards (a quarter kilometer).
The number of other people sharing spots in the sand can vary widely, it depends on many factors: the time of sundown, happy hour, even how many of the nearby hotel rooms have been booked. This spot is not near many large hotels, but it's sometimes enjoyed by guests staying at the few small lodgings in the area.
