St. Kitts Scenic Railway

The "Last Railway in the West Indies" stands poised majestically to take visitors on a nature tour lasting three hours and spanning 30 miles. This is a fun and unique way to learn about local nature and history while riding a real and fully functioning train.

The railway was built between 1912 and 1926 specifically to transport sugar cane, but now allows visitors to travel the countryside in a unique and fun way. Guests are treated to a narrative history, a cappella music singing Caribbean folk songs, and complimentary drinks along the way.

St. Kitts Scenic Railway accepts these credit cards: Master Card and Visa.

What to Expect

The train is a double decker featuring an open air observation platform on the top deck. Inside, the parlor has huge windows, comfortable furnishings, and local artwork on the walls.
