Marigot Bay's unspoiled lands and marked popularity draw visitors from all over, making it home to many different facilities and accommodations for guests. Enjoy fine dining, shopping, entertainment, and other activities along the shore while at Marigot Bay.

Interested guests can find this beach in Marigot Bay, less than a mile away from Roseau Bay.

3 | New Pointmarigot Marina

This marina is located in Marigot Bay, a short distance from Marigot Bay.

1 | Fort Charlotte

The large Fort Charlotte may be in ruins, but there is still plenty to explore. The fort, built in 1764 by the French, still maintains many of its walkways and staircases, as the site has been renovated as a community college and government offices.

Found within traveling distance from Marigot, this historical site is 15.7 miles (25.3 km) north of Balenbouche Estate.

1 | Government House

The current Government House is the third incarnation, with the first being destroyed in 1817, and the second abandoned in 1865. The third and final Government House was completed in 1895.

This historical site is 17.3 miles (27.8 km) from Balenbouche Estate, and is within Le Pavillion Royal Museum.

1 | River Rock Waterfall

From Balenbouche Estate, go 12 miles (19 and a half kilometers) to the north to reach this waterfall.

1 | Dennery Harbour

Visitors can find this marina in the eastern part of Dennery, 14 miles (23 kilometers) northeast of Balenbouche Estate.

1 | Mt. Gimie

Standing guard over the island of St. Lucia is Mt. Gimie, the tallest mountain on the island.

You will be able to find this volcano 8.1 miles (13.1 km) to the north of Balenbouche Estate.

1 | Mamiku Gardens

A collection of tropical plants and ruins of a house built in the 1700's, the Mamiku Gardens are quite an adventure despite its well maintained state.

Found within traveling distance from Dennery, this botanical garden is 11.4 miles (18.4 km) to the northeast of Balenbouche Estate.

2 | Fregate Islands

This nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve is located a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) northeast of Mamiku Gardens, and is within driving range of Dennery.

1 | Barre de L'isle Rain Forest Trail

This hiking trail is on the same premises as Barre de l'Isle Forest Reserve, and is 11.2 miles (18.0 km) to the north-northeast of Balenbouche Estate.

2 | Barre de l'Isle Forest Reserve

This popular climb and hike is a major eco-tourist attraction on St. Lucia, and any fan of hiking up mountains and fantastic views will want to give the Barre de l'Isle Forest Reserve a try.

Found within traveling range from Dennery, this nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve is located from Barre de L'isle Rain Forest Trail.

1 | Jalouise

This beautiful beach can only be reached one of two ways -- either through the Jalousie Hilton Resort, or by boat. Those not staying at the resort are still welcomed, however.

From Balenbouche Estate, go five and a half miles (nine kilometers) to the north-northwest to get to this beach.

2 | Piton Falls

Nestled within one of St. Lucia's most sought after outdoor attractions, Pitons Falls is simply one of the sites that visitors staying in and around Soufriere must make it a point to see. You can do so from Sulfur Springs, but the bigger impact will be to take a quick hike and see the falls up close.

Travel a short distance (about a kilometer) to the north from Jalouise to get to this waterfall.

3 | St. Lucia Zip Lining

A popular attractions on St. Lucia is the Morne Coubaril Estate, where visitors are invited to see what life was like on a working plantation, for both the workers and their owners. But there is more to this estate than just a tour.

Found on the same premises as Morne Coubaril Estate, this zip line site is located 0.8 miles (1.2 km) from Piton Falls.

4 | Morne Coubaril Estate

Morne Coubaril Estate is a 250-acre 18th century plantation estate that has been restored and is now used as a museum that shows visitors what life on the plantation was like. Not only is the estate house available for touring, but the grounds are as well, which include shacks in the worker's village that served as the plantation workers homes, and a working mill.

If you're coming from St. Lucia Zip Lining, go north to reach this zip line site.

5 | Tanzanite Heights Waterfall

Even more off the beaten track than your typical waterfall, Tanzanite Heights is one that very few people actually travel to, despite its beauty. Set near the Morne Boubaril estate, you'll find this is one of the most serene natural destinations at the heart of town.

Morne Coubaril Estate is a short distance away northwest of this waterfall.

6 | Sulphur Springs Park

One of the island's most famous natural attractions, the sulfur springs draws in over 200 thousand visitors each year. This 46-hectare park boasts a combination of geological features including the Caribbean’s only “drive-in volcano”, world-class interpretation center and two hot water bathing pools.

Travelers can find this nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve on Tet Paul Nature Trail, a short distance from Tanzanite Heights Waterfall.

7 | Volvano at Sulphur Springs

Home to the "world's only drive in volcano," Sulphur Springs does very literally allow guests to drive their car through the center of the dormant Soufriere Volcano.

This volcano is situated on the same premises as Sulphur Springs Park.

8 | Springs at Sulphur Springs

A major part of Sulphur Springs National Park is the sulfur springs themselves. They formed from a weak spot in a collapsed crater over 410,000 years ago.

This hot spring is situated on the same premises as Sulphur Springs Park.

9 | Diamond Falls

One of the top natural features in the Caribbean, Diamond Falls is famous for its mineral rich water and beautiful grotto.

Situated on the southwestern outskirts of the neighborhood of Cresslands, this waterfall is located 0.8 miles (1.2 km) from Springs at Sulphur Springs.

10 | Toraille Waterfalls

One of the biggest waterfalls in the area, Toraille is a natural heritage site and popular among tourists thanks to the facilities that are offered. It is also very easy to reach, so if you don't feel up for a challenging hike, you'll still reap the rewards of one of nature's works of art.

Diamond Falls is about three quarters of a mile (a little more than a kilometer) to the west of this waterfall.

1 | Edmund Rainforest Trail

This hiking trail can be found five and a half miles (nine kilometers) north-northeast of Balenbouche Estate, and is on the same premises as Edmund Forest Reserve.

2 | Edmund Forest Reserve

A hike through Edmund Forest Reserve is a three-and-a-half hour long experience that will give tourists an inside look of some of St. Lucia's most pristine and well-kept forest land.

Visitors can find this nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve within traveling range from Soufrière, from Edmund Rainforest Trail.

1 | Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet Beach is a lovely spot. It's in possession of that smooth, soft sand that begs to be squished between your toes.

Interested guests will find this beach eight miles (13 kilometers) north-northwest of Balenbouche Estate.

2 | Soufriere Beach

A quiet beach in the north of Soufriere Town, it is visited mainly by locals. Boaters also enjoy Soufriere as there are a number of spots for boat anchorage.

Found on the western outskirts of Soufrière, this beach is located one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) to the east-southeast of Anse Chastanet.

3 | Soufriere Marine Management Area

You can find this nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) south west of Soufriere Beach.

1 | Sault Falls

Known also by Dennery and Errand Falls, Sault Faulls is one of the biggest waterfalls on the island. It is also one of the lesser-known falls, the perfect reprieve for visitors who prefer a quiet hike and dip in the cool pools that is fills.

From Balenbouche Estate, go 13 miles (21 kilometers) northeast to get to this waterfall.

1 | Gros Pitons

The most recognizable natural attractions on St. Lucia are, hands down, the Pitons. These two volcanic mountains, called Gros Piton and Petit Piton are separated from one another by the Piton Mitan Ridge, and are popular amongst hikers who revel in a gorgeous view of the island when they reach the top.

This volcano can be found four and a half miles (seven and a half kilometers) to the northwest of Balenbouche Estate, and is within Pitons Management Area.

2 | Pitons Management Area

Consisting of two lava domes, the Pitons Management area offers perfect views of Gros Piton and Petit Piton and is a great starting off point for exploration of the mountains and all of their volcanic features.

This nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve is situated within easy traveling range of Soufrière, only 0.3 miles (0.4 km) south-southeast of Gros Pitons.

3 | Gros Pitons Hiking Trail

This hiking trail is located within Pitons Management Area.

4 | Tet Paul Nature Trail

This hiking trail can be found less than a mile from Gros Pitons Hiking Trail.

5 | Fond Doux Plantation

Originally opened over 250 years ago, this property is one of the oldest still working plantations on the island. With accommodations, a restaurant, and a wedding venue, this place has it all.

This plantation is situated just 0.7 miles (1.1 km) from Tet Paul Nature Trail.

1 | Laborie Beach

Found within traveling range of Vieux Fort, this beach is located a mile and a half (three kilometers) east of Balenbouche Estate.

1 | Enbas Saut Falls

A scenic hike along a trail dotted with smaller waterfalls leads visitors to a gorgeous, awe inspiring waterfall called Enbas Saut. Wildlife tends to hide from hikers here, but on occasion a glimpse of the St. Lucian Parrot makes the trip worth it.

This waterfall can be found within easy traveling range of Soufrière, approximately six and a half miles (approximately ten kilometers) to the north of Balenbouche Estate.

Guests can find this sporting event venue 5.7 miles (9.1 km) from Balenbouche Estate.

1 | Fort Viuex Marina

Balenbouche Estate is five and a half miles (eight and a half kilometers) west-northwest of this marina.

2 | Vieux Fort

This beach is located opposite the more popular beaches of Vieux Fort's eastern shore, Anse Des Sables and Sandy Beach. While not typically a spot flocked to by tourists, it is worth going to if you're on the southern tip of the island and want to get away from the more popular beaches.

From Fort Viuex Marina, go three quarters of a mile (one and a quarter kilometers) south to get to this beach.

3 | Independence Square

Guests can find this park in the heart of downtown Vieux Fort, one and an eighth miles (a kilometer and a half) to the north of Vieux Fort.

4 | Anse des Sables

Because of the strong gusts of wind at Anse des Sables, the area is particularly popular for windsurfing. Flanked by Vieux Fort Bluff and looking out onto Maria Major Island, there are splendid views in all directions at this tropical paradise.

Found near the heart of Vieux Fort, this beach is 0.7 miles (1.2 km) from Independence Square.

5 | Vieux Fort Lighthouse

From Anse des Sables, go one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) south to find this lighthouse.

6 | Maria Islands

In 1982, the government of St. Lucia declared Maria Islands a nature reserve. Today they function as a wildlife habitat where flora and fauna are protected and guests can learn about the unique tropical topography.

When coming from Vieux Fort Lighthouse, go one and an eighth miles (a kilometer and a half) to the northeast to find this nature sanctuary/wildlife reserve.

1 | Anse Couchon

While visiting Anse Couchon, beachgoers can enjoy some underwater sightseeing at the beach's shallow reef, which is home to an array of fascinating sea life. Visitors will doubtlessly fall in love with the exotic and picturesque shores of this romantic getaway.

2 | L'Anse la Raye

If you are coming from Anse Couchon, go one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) to the northeast to reach this beach.
