Dauphin Beach

Ancient Indian stone carvings are the central draw to this beach, though ruins from an old colonial church destroyed in the Saint Lucia French Revolution of the late 1700s is another intriguing attraction. A trip to Dauphin Beach will make for a very interesting, often exciting, day.

Located on the island of Saint Lucia, You might want to drop by even if you are not staying particularly close by. There are advantages to visiting a beach that hasn't been "discovered" by thousands of tourists; secluded parts of the coast like Dauphin Beach might not be typical "beach scenes", but are nice and private.

How to Access The Beach

Accessible only by jeep, the trip out here has the potential to make for some adventure. You can get a jeep to take you to the coast from Monchy, a town northwest of Castries.
