Located near the middle of the island of Saint Lucia, 4.0 miles east of Babonneau, Grand Anse is on the North East coast of the island, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. This isn't just another pretty beach, it's special in that it's one of the few quiet beaches on St. Lucia. The closest town is Rodney Bay, which is not lacking in exploration opportunities, yet also not overflowing with buildings. From the coast, Rodney Bay isn't out of reach at six miles (ten kilometers) away.
The number of other vacationers sharing this coastline can vary widely, it depends on many factors: the time of sundown, happy hour, even how many of the nearby hotel rooms have been booked. This beach is not near many large hotels, but it can appeal to guests staying at smaller lodgings in the area.

You might not run into any places to grab a bit to eat in the immediate surroundings of this location, so you might want to plan a picnic if you want to fully enjoy your time spent at the beach.
Needless to say, there are other beaches on Saint Lucia besides Grand Anse worth visiting.
Another location you might enjoy is Vigie Beach, situated within cab range of the beach. The sandy Vigie Beach is the perfect place to visit on your next St. Lucia beach outing. On the other hand, Anse Louvert could provide a little more opportunity for excitement, and is closer to other popular destinations. You'll find it three miles to the south.
You might also want to visit Malabar Beach, located not too far away, and can be reached in a taxi.
