Anse Marcel is a beautiful beach, completely tucked away in a bay, with some of the brightest blue waters I've ever seen. The sand is soft and white and the shape of the bay calms the waves into gentle ripples.

Located in Anse Marcel, this beach is on the South East coast of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Beaches in St. Martin are often though of as quite secluded, offering beautiful backdrops and few disturbances. These spots may be perfect for those who need a break from crowds, but others need the kind of activity and variety you'll find at Anse Marcel.

How to Access The Beach
Access to this beach tends to be limited to those who are staying at the resorts that line the beachfront. You could patronize the bar at the resort and casually head to the shore or you could try just walking through or renting a boat and arriving at the marina.

Amenities and Ambiance

This beach has two major hotels on its inland side, owning this beachfront property. There's also a marina with a channel into the bay on the east side of the beach.

Also, you have the option of trying the restaurant located right on Anse Marcel. St. Martin has a wide assortment of dining options, but did you know that some of St. Martin's best dishes aren't served in restaurants at all? Some vacationers like having lunch very close-by. Did you know that many hotels are able to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Or, it would be easy to grab some hot food from a street vendor or casual cafe along the way.

If you're suddenly hungry or thirsty, the concession stand at Anse Marcel is the ultimate convenience.

Travelers can take advantage of the available picnic tables, so your food won't get sandy.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. Showers are provided for visitors, so you can rinse off the sand.

Anse Marcel plus its amenities will be found well within an area commonly frequented by travelers. Unless you do not mind crowds, it'll be a decent cause to plan ahead for times when there are less people, such as heading to the beach in the morning. If you come later, it's possible you may not be able to completely enjoy all the services that this beach has for its guests.
