Anse Marcel is a beautiful beach, completely tucked away in a bay, with some of the brightest blue waters I've ever seen. The sand is soft and white and the shape of the bay calms the waves into gentle ripples.

Situated on the northwestern outskirts of Anse Marcel, this beach is on the South East coast of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Many of St. Martin's beaches are secluded spots, which offer tranquility and relaxation. These spots may be perfect for those who need a break from crowds, but others crave the action and variety present at beaches like Anse Marcel.

How to Access The Beach
Access to this beach tends to be limited to those who are staying at the resorts that line the beachfront. You could patronize the bar at the resort and casually head to the shore or you could try just walking through or renting a boat and arriving at the marina.

Amenities and Ambiance

This beach has two major hotels on its inland side, owning this beachfront property. There's also a marina with a channel into the bay on the east side of the beach.

There is also a restaurant on-location, which many Anse Marcel visitors find convenient and satisfying. Each country in the Caribbean has its own unique cuisine, and St. Martin is no different. One truly memorable place to experience delicious local dishes is right on the water. Did you know that some hotels are happy to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Otherwise, there are plenty of walk-up vendors that offer hot, on-the-go food.

If you're suddenly hungry or thirsty, the concession stand at Anse Marcel is the ultimate convenience.

Those who want to dine by the water will appreciate that there are picnic tables available.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. Fortunately, showers are provided, so you don't have to go back to your hotel sandy.

You should remember that the immediate vicinity around Anse Marcel is an urban area, so you may find numerous people competing for the use of the same services.
