Grandes Cayes

This beach is on a more isolated, northeastern part of the island. You can come here and forget all about civilization as you sink your toes in the soft, warm sand.

Positioned in Saint Martin, Grandes Cayes is on the South East edge of the island of St. Martin and Sint Maarten. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. Although the area isn't crowded with buildings, visitors frequently find this a worthwhile destination since it's removed from certain noisier areas.

How to Access The Beach

The access road here is called the Rue de Grande Caye. It dead ends just north of the beach, so you'll know if you missed it. With no resorts to fence off the beachfront, you can walk right on this beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

This beach is a curved sweep of sand on a crystalline blue bay, without any development at all. It's a flat beach with usually calm waters. This is one of the few beaches on the island with solitary ambiance, away from the hustle and bustle.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

Keep in mind that the area surrounding Grandes Cayes is highly urbanized, so plan accordingly.
